If they were strays they help them with adjusting to living with humans, and if they were sick they help them recuperate. They are an organization that you can definitely feel good about adopting from. They have locations all over New Jersey, making it easy for anyone in the tristate area to adopt.
YOUR LOCAL SHELTER
If you are not from New Jersey or the surrounding area, you are going to have to do a little more digging to find the perfect adoption agency. Of course you can still use petfinder.com but if you want to go somewhere where you can visit the animals before adopting them, you will need to find a local shelter. Look for somewhere with a no kill policy, and that treats their animals humanly.
